Introduction
FCCLA now offers a single, unified scholarship application to simplify applying for multiple award opportunities. With one submission, members can indicate interest in any combination of the scholarships listed below rather than filling out separate forms for each.
How to apply
- Sign in to your FCCLA Member Portal using your Member ID Number.
- Go to the Surveys & Applications tab and choose “Scholarships” from the dropdown to open the FCCLA Unified Scholarship Application.
- Application deadline: March 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.

Destination DC Hospitality Scholarship — Overview
This scholarship recognizes a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue a hospitality degree and demonstrates promise for leadership and success in the hospitality industry. The chosen applicant must be enrolled at a two- or four-year degree-granting institution beginning in the Fall 2026 term.
About Destination DC
Destination DC serves as Washington, D.C.’s official destination marketing organization, promoting the capital as a top global location for conventions, tourism, and special events. This award supports Destination DC’s goal of encouraging the next generation of professionals who will advance travel, tourism, and guest service experiences.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a graduating high school senior and an active FCCLA member.
- Be affiliated with national FCCLA by May 31, 2026.
- Hold at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a non-weighted 4.0 scale.
- Intend to enroll in a hospitality program at a two- or four-year degree-granting institution starting Fall 2026.
Selection process
Submissions will be judged on content, clarity of expression, and overall quality. Applicants are encouraged to keep written responses concise.
Award
One recipient will receive a one-time $5,000 scholarship. The award will be paid directly to the recipient and must be used for tuition, room, and/or board expenses.
