Jet Insurance Company is committed to supporting the next generation of American business leaders. This scholarship is designed for high school seniors on the verge of graduation and college students currently enrolled, who have a keen interest in carving out a career in the business sector.

Award: A single scholarship worth $1,000
Essay Topic: Narrate a personal experience where you triumphed over a significant life hurdle or challenge and the lessons you gleaned from it that have equipped you for college and beyond. How will these experiences shape your unique approach to a business career?
Word Count: 250-500 words
Submission Deadline: July 31, 2025
Guidelines and Conditions
The Jet Future Business Leaders Scholarship Competition is open to all citizens/residents of the United States.
Essays that are partially or wholly generated by AI will be instantly disqualified. All entries will be scrutinized and checked for AI/ChatGPT usage.
Applicants must fill out all sections of the application form to be eligible. This includes first and last name, email address, current/planned college, major or planned major, college website URL, and anticipated college graduation date.
Finalists are required to provide a photograph of themselves and proof of enrollment for consideration. The winner's photo and essay will be featured on the Jet blog and disseminated on social media.
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Ensure to submit applications before the stipulated deadline.
Each applicant is allowed to submit one entry per competition.
The essay must respond to the given prompt and should be within the word limit of 250 to 500 words.
Submitted essays must be the original work of the applicant. Any form of plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification. The essays should not violate the intellectual property or third-party rights of any company, organization, or individual.
Previous applicants who were not selected as winners can reapply for the scholarship in the following semester, but past winners are not eligible for a second win.
Only one scholarship is awarded per semester and all decisions are final.
Jet selects finalists who will then be subject to a public vote. Finalists will be provided with a link to the voting page, which they can share for a chance to win. The finalist with the highest number of votes will receive the scholarship.
Jet is not liable for any local, state, or federal taxes. By submitting an essay for Jet's competition, the student confirms their acceptance and comprehension of these terms.
