Wings Over America Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Wings Over America Scholarship Fund
The Wings Over America Scholarship application for the 2025–2026 award cycle is now available.
Overview
- The Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation awards at least 50 scholarships each year to support postsecondary education for dependents of the U.S. Navy aviation community. Each scholarship is $5,000; a portion of awards may be renewable.
- Funds may be applied to tuition and required fees only at accredited institutions and are available for trade-school certification programs, community college, or four‑year undergraduate study.
- Selection is based on academic achievement, community service, extracurricular involvement, and personal character. To ensure impartial judging, applicants’ identifying information is removed so selections are made blind.
- Applicants whose tuition and required fees are already completely covered by institutional scholarships, ROTC funding, or Post‑9/11/GI Bill Yellow Ribbon benefits are not eligible. Students enrolled at U.S. service academies are also ineligible.
