Overview
The National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA), Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) and National Hereford Women collaborate to provide scholarships that support the education of outstanding NJHA members. The HYFA scholarship program recognizes achievement and encourages enthusiasm, leadership, academic success and cooperative effort among youth. These awards are intended to develop strong leaders for the Hereford breed and the broader beef industry while helping recipients pursue postsecondary education.

HYFA Spring Scholarships

Each fall HYFA awards more than $150,000 in scholarships at the NJHA Awards and HYFA Scholarship Ceremony during the American Hereford Association membership meeting in Kansas City.
