Colorado Garden Foundation Scholarship

Introduction
The Colorado Garden Foundation awards scholarships funded by proceeds from the annual Colorado Garden & Home Show and the Colorado Fall Home Show. These scholarships provide financial assistance to students enrolled at colleges or universities in Colorado. Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year must be submitted by March 15, 2026.
Full-Ride Scholarship
- Award: Covers tuition, mandatory fees, room and board, and required textbooks for up to four years. A laptop and printer will be provided at the start of the freshman year.
- Eligibility: Open only to Colorado residents. Applicants must be incoming freshmen at a Colorado public college or university.
- Duration: Up to four years maximum.

Undergraduate Scholarship
- Award: Pays full resident tuition, required books, and fees for one academic year.
- Intended field of study: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in one of the following areas: Horticulture, Landscape Horticulture, Floriculture, Turfgrass Management, Botany, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Landscape Design, or Landscape Architecture.
- Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited Colorado college or university.
- Have completed at least three semesters of college coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Have completed at least one course in Botany or Horticulture and at least two courses in subjects such as Soil Science, Turf Culture, Floriculture, Greenhouse Management, Arboriculture, or other plant science disciplines.
Graduate Scholarship
- Award: Covers full resident tuition, required books, and fees for one academic year.
- Intended field of study: For students in graduate-level programs (master’s or doctoral) in Horticulture, Landscape Horticulture, Floriculture, Turfgrass Management, Botany, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Landscape Design, or Landscape Architecture.
- Requirements:
- Enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at an accredited Colorado college or university.
- Hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Have completed at least one course in Botany or Horticulture and at least two courses in areas such as Soil Science, Turf Culture, Floriculture, Greenhouse Management, Arboriculture, or related plant sciences.
