This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Anne Byrd, the former Chair of the James Island Constituent School Board. Anne Byrd is remembered for her dedication, hard work, and relentless advocacy for students, which transformed public education on James Island.

- Applicants must be students at a James Island Constituent District high school.
Application process and timeline

- Each student submits a single application; the online system will automatically match you with scholarships for which you qualify.
- All application materials, including letters of recommendation, must be submitted by mid-March.
- Applicants will be notified of their application status by early July.
