Eligibility
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- Eligible students are incoming freshmen through incoming seniors who will be enrolled full time at an accredited two- or four-year college, or students attending an accredited trade school. (See the online link for details.)
- Applicant must be a current, active member of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports (one of the following organizations): AWSA, ABC, AKA, NCWSA, NSSA, NWSRA, USA-AWSWS, USA-WB, or USHA.
- Awards are limited to undergraduate students and may be awarded for no more than three (3) academic years. Recipients are required to be enrolled for the full academic year during any year they receive the award.
Deadlines and notifications
- Completed applications must be received by 11:59 PM ET on April 1 of the award year.
- Winners will be informed no later than July 15 of the award year.
Application checklist and instructions
- Read all instructions carefully before submitting. It is the applicant’s responsibility to confirm the application is complete, signed, and that all required materials have been received by USA-WWF by the deadline. DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING!
- Required items:
1. Fully complete the online application form.
2. Submit an essay or a video that responds to the essay question.
3. Include two (2) current letters of recommendation.
4. Provide transcripts or grade reports showing courses taken, grades, and GPA. Documentation must demonstrate current full-time status or work in progress. If you will be a college freshman, include your high school records and proof of college enrollment.
Only applications that include all required materials by the deadline will be reviewed.
