Page Education Foundation Grant Program

Scholarship Sponsored by Page Education Foundation

Value: $3,500.00
Awards Available: 450
Deadline : Apr 01, 2026

Introduction
The Page Education Foundation believes a strong education lays the groundwork for a young person’s lifelong success. Focused on encouraging Minnesota’s youth of color to pursue post-secondary study, the Foundation supports academic growth, personal responsibility, and the unrealized potential of students of color in Minnesota by providing financial grants.

About the Page Grant
Each year the Foundation awards renewable Page Grants to Minnesota students of color who are enrolled in post-secondary programs within the state. Recipients agree to carry out a Service to Children Project: at least 50 hours of tutoring and mentoring for children in grades K–8. The project’s purpose is to help younger students improve academically, develop a positive view of education, and see college as an achievable goal.

Eligibility
To be considered for a Page Grant an applicant must:
- Identify as a student of color (Black/African American, American Indian, Asian American or Pacific Islander, or Latino/a/Hispanic).
- Be a graduate of a Minnesota high school.
- Be enrolled at an accredited Minnesota post-secondary institution.
- Register for and maintain full-time enrollment for the academic year in which the grant is awarded.

Application window and deadline
- The online application opens January 1, 2026, and closes April 1, 2026.
- All applications must be submitted online by April 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Important details
- There is no minimum GPA requirement.
- Non-U.S. citizens are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Grants are awarded for a single academic year and must be renewed annually.

Award amounts and disbursement
- Annual Page Grant awards range from $2,500 to $3,500 per student.
- The exact award amount depends on the type of post-secondary institution the recipient attends.
- Funds are disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.

Selection process
The Selection Committee evaluates applicants who demonstrate perseverance in pursuing education despite significant barriers and who show a commitment to community service.

Two applicant categories are reviewed:
- New applicants are evaluated on their application narratives, letter of recommendation, documented financial need, and willingness to complete the Service to Children Project.
- Returning Page Scholars are reviewed based on narratives about their completed Service to Children Project, feedback from the volunteer site (via the Service to Children Evaluation form), academic progress (including ongoing full-time enrollment), and verification of the required 50 volunteer hours.

Notification and acceptance
- Applicants will be informed of decisions by mid-June via the email address listed on their application.
- Award notifications include an Acceptance Form. Selected recipients must electronically sign and return the Acceptance Form by the deadline specified before any grant funds are released.
- Not all applicants will be chosen; decisions by the Foundation are final.

Service to Children Project requirements
- Grant recipients must complete a Service to Children Project consisting of tutoring and mentoring children in grades K–8 through a Minnesota community organization for a minimum of 50 hours.
- Recipients may begin volunteer activities as early as June 1, 2026.
- The 50 required hours must be completed and submitted by April 1, 2027; failure to complete the hours will result in forfeiture of the grant.

Application platform and data security
- Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s Submittable platform, hosted on Amazon Web Services (US East). Submittable is designed to collect submissions securely while protecting applicant privacy.

Contact and further information
- All application materials and instructions are provided in the online application. Applicants should refer to the application portal for any updates or additional guidance.
